On my path I heard the cries

Tears hidden deep inside

Souls were screaming in the silence

With nowhere left to hide

I was listening to their calling

Like the wind across the night

Soft voices begging me

“Stay with us… bring back the light”

Stay… stay… only you can stop

These cries of evil rising up

Open your soul along this way

Souls are crying in the night

Searching for a saving light

On this road I felt their pain

Calling me again, again

Through the shadows I could hear

Hope still fighting through the fear

Even when the dark appears

My soul will not disappear

On this path I felt something

Deep within the evil’s calm

A silent wait inside the darkness

Trying hard to bring me down

Evil wished to see me falling

Before I could understand

But the sky whispered softly:

“Rise again, take my hand.”
