Static flickers across the edge of time

A dying signal in the back of my mind

A world still breathing, but nobody’s home

A kingdom of ashes left to wander alone

If there’s a God beyond these endless skies

Does he see the tears in a million eyes?

Does he hear the prayers we scream into the night?

Or did he walk away and leave us behind?

Maybe we’re children of a forgotten age

Locked inside a world with a corrupted save

A game left running when the player moved on

A story still playing after hope was gone

The stars keep burning, but they never speak

The answers we chase are forever out of reach

Are we just ghosts in a machine that’s breaking down?

Lost in a world that forgot we were around

If you’re out there, why haven’t you returned?

Why do we bleed while your heavens burn?

We built our towers, we fought our wars

Still waiting for you behind closed doors

But maybe there’s no hand reaching from above

No final chapter written in the name of love

Maybe the savior we’ve been begging to find

Left this old world somewhere behind

And now we’re just a forgotten save file

A faded memory lost after a while

A game nobody remembers to play

A universe slowly fading away

We keep searching through the ruins of creation

Looking for a sign, looking for salvation

But every miracle feels like a ghost

Every promise feels like something we lost
