Breaking Through the Darkness

Shadows whisper, echoing pain,

Lost in the night, can't find the way.

Fighting my demons, breathing in fears,

Hoping for dawn to dry my tears.

From the wounds of yesterday, I carry the weight,

A silent scream behind a closed gate.

Questioning why I’m still here, wandering in the storm,

Searching for a light, a place to transform.

But still I rise, despite the scars,

Searching for hope behind these bars.

Trying to see beyond the dark,

Hold on to the fading spark.

Break the chains, let the healing start,

Find the strength within my heart.

Though the darkness tries to consume,

I will chase away the gloom.

Every hurt, every tear, shapes who I am,

Turning scars into stories, futures to plan.

Breathe in courage, breathe out fears,

Step forward through the tears.

Light will dawn, peace will find me,

Breaking free from what used to bind me.

Emerging from shadows, reaching for grace,

Seeking my purpose, finding my place.
