I'm a highway man...just living my life on the road....
it's the lifestyle I love.... till I find a place to call home....
I roam from town to town.... exploring places I've never been....
Lord knows I enjoy the open road....but it gets lonely now and then...
I'm just looking for a good ol' gal, and a small piece of land....Someplace to call my own, too work with my two hands.... I'd like a woman who doesn't care where we're at.... Someone to love me, and a place to hang my hat....
I've been seeing this world.... through this ol' windshield too long....
It's time for me to settle.... before all the good ones are gone....
I stop in Great Falls Montana....and found me a small cafe....
I drank coffee with the waitress....and she gave me her number as I walked away.
I'm just looking for a good ol' gal, and a small piece of land....Someplace to call my own, too work with my two hands.... I'd like a woman who doesn't care where we're at.... Someone to love me, and a place to hang my hat....
I knew it was a long shot.... but I gave her a call anyway....
To my Surprise she answered....then she asked if I'd like to stay....
I took one look at her....and inside somehow I knew she's the one....
This could be the moment....all my wondering days are done....
I'm just looking for a good ol' gal, and a small piece of land....Someplace to call my own, too work with my two hands.... I'd like a woman who doesn't care where we're at.... Someone to love me, and a place to hang my hat....
....ohhhhh......she took my highwayman attitude....and killed it right where we were at...
she said stick around with me.... and use my heart to hang your hat....
I'm no longer looking for a good ol' gal, and I've got a piece of land....Someplace to call my own, too work with my two hands.... I Love my woman she doesn't care where we're at....she really loves me, and her hearts where I hang my hat....
