Crystal glass with a shattered past

Mind lock in a prism cast

Thoughts always grinding fast

Can’t break the mold of times fold

The gears are spinning but they’re out of line

A heavy heart in a thin design

I’m reaching out for a different sign

But the clock just ticks away the wine

Break the frame, let the light leak in

I’m tired of wearing this second skin

Echoes of who I might have been

Lost in the static, lost in the spin

Yeah, the walls are paper thin

Polished edges turn to jagged blades

Memory burns while the future fades

Walking through these masquerades

Of ancient debts and old charades

The mirror reflects what I can’t evade
