Wings torn in shadows, lost in the dark

Echoes of a past that left an invisible mark

Once destined for the skies, now chained on the ground

Broken halos whisper, lost in silent sound

Fallen from grace, with a heavy heart's plea

Longing for redemption, yearning to be free

Chains of regret, they weigh so heavy

Bound by sorrow, feeling so unsteady

Drowning in memories of what they’ve lost

A choice made in silence, at what cost?

Fallen angels, buried in remorse

Trapped in shadows, with no recourse

Wishing for a dawn, breaking through the night

Seeking salvation, longing for the light

Heaven’s calls fade into distant cries

Chains of guilt, behind sorrowed eyes

But hope flickers in the broken dawn

A chance to rise, to carry on

No longer may they stay, in worlds not theirs

Hoping someday to shed these unspoken cares
