Waves of My Heart

Whispering winds and rolling tides,

Calling me back to where I reside.

A place of peace, my soul's retreat,

Where ocean's song and heartbeats meet.

Memories of waves crashing at dawn,

Sun-kissed mornings on a sandy lawn.

Ancestors' whispers in the breeze,

Telling tales beneath the palms and trees.

Dreams once bright, now softly fade,

But my heart’s still on that shoreline displayed.

Living for the breeze, the salt, the spray,

Longing for my ocean day.

Sailing away, where my spirit craves,

Across the blue, through sunlit waves.

Ocean calls, my roots run deep,

Where waves rock me to sleep.

Next to the beach, where dreams are spun,

Under endless skies, just as I’d begun.

Living life where the water sings,

Finding peace in the ocean’s rings.

One day soon, I’ll set my sail,

Follow waves where legends trail.

Till then I dream of salt and foam,

My happy place, my forever home.
