Redemption A Gift I Don't Deserve

The mirror’s cracked my hands are cold

A story unfinished too tired to be told

I scream to the sky but it won’t reply

Wondering if heaven is just a lie

Is there a light past all this gray

Does forgiveness have the heart to stay

For a man who’s stumbled and broke his way

Would a Savior hold me or turn away

Jesus are you real or just a dream

Can you see me lost in this frozen stream

Is grace enough or too far to reach

Am I a lesson you forgot to teach

Tangled in shadows sinking so low

I wear my sins like they’re part of my soul

Does the door to heaven ever open wide

Or does it lock out hearts when they’ve already died
