Waves of yesterday, drifting far behind

Echoes of laughter, in my mind

Once shattered pieces, scattered on the ground

Lost in shadows, couldn’t find how to be found

Time, the gentle healer, mended every piece

Piece by piece, I found my peace

Happier now, the scars begin to fade
