Entertaining angels

As I set there at the table and I look across the way, I saw an old man sitting there with his clothes in disarray. His hair was just as white as I had ever seen, his shoes were worn , his clothes were torn, but a look upon his face. Thinking in my mind this must be a homeless man,a small voice came so quietly saying lend a helping hand. As tears began to fill my eyes my heart began to break, the voice kept ringing in my mind son please don’t make him wait.

Entertains angels, angels unaware, Jesus came to visit me this day to prove he cares. He is all around us to lend a helping hand and can use a willing vessel in the form of a homeless man.

Now once again the voice I heard and I knew it was my Lord, saying this is how to help my son just speak to him these words. Tell him that I love him though earthly riches he has none, but a crown of life he’ll someday wear because he is my son.

So I walked up to this man I had never seen before and began to tell him that I had a message from my Lord. I said sir, please excuse but there is something I must say, please don’t be offended and I will soon be on my way . I said sir Jesus loves you that’s all I’ve got to say I just wanted you to know because his voice I must obey.

Now when I’d finished speaking and was about to walk away, the man looked deep into my eyes and he had this to say. He said son you should know me and I don’t need anything and no I’m not offended I know theres power in Jesus name. I have often come to visit here have you not seen me before, then I knew within my heart, I’ve had a visit from my Lord.
