Singing to the stars
Not one could ever compare
The glisten the shine of mischief
Grassy green would look grey
Stuffing yourself
Or getting drunk at bars
Just a drop of this makes those look bare
You will forever say "what if"
Riddle me This
Whether you're mouse, human, elf
Whether you're clear skin or full scars
Love, different for each of you stars
The tourtured can feel love from tourture,
With time.
The innocent can feel love from innocent romance- a sweet gesture,
It can change.
The neglected
.
.
.
?
The disconnected

What star are you?
You might find a star one day
But think of your glow
Is it cold, warm?
What do you draw in?
Hope your travels find what to do
Show you and light your way
Don't be afraid love, take it slow
What kind of love is your love?
Tell them what you like to see
Tell them what habits you hate
Listen to what they wish to see
Listen to any ache or pain
But learn there might be a bend
There might be a break
But don't try to fight each other
You're not the problem
Neither are they
It's not you
You're not the problem
You're a different star, right?
A different color
A different size or shape
You can change your color
Or they can change theirs
But launching comets only hurts both
So launch a real talk
Why use fire
When you can use flowers
Fire burns down lives
Flowers make smiles and honey
From bees
Fire makes everyone hurt and flee
Flowers are like hugs and warm fur
And the prettiest of trees
So
Riddle me This
I think the lonely stars got used to alone
Alone was better than hurt
Neglected disconnected
Started fires
The fires made the new things leave
Kept things normal, set like a stone
Alone was better than hurt
Oddballed introverted
Eventually there was a dimming
There was nothing to achieve
No way to learn since they were alone
Alone was better than hurt
Then at last the star went out
There was no one helping
Not even themselves, they didn't believe
Because they were alone
Alone is not better than alone
Keep shining
Ask for help
Find purpose
Big or small
Singing to the stars
Nothing could compare
They glow all so different
Each a prize one day to love
And to care
