I am the water that crashes against the shoreline

To the rhythm of the booming thunder coming from

Countless mines being stripped

Of nature's earthly bounty

That is no concern for me

And just rumble my way home

Through the crumbling world surrounding me

Under and through the wreckage of

The bridges humans have burned

I can slide back into my current

And look up into the skies

As eternity swirls around me
