My shelter from the rain

he's my shelter from the rain the one who carries me through those rough and rocky plains he is the center of the storm where I find peace and can't be harmed . and when I find I'm too weak to even crawl he carries me until I can withstand the storm. when I turn my back on him he stays right there beside me through my darkest days he loves me unconditionally through it all even when it seems all I can do is wrong and when I turn back to my loving God he holds me and says you know I still love you my child and whisper to me so soft and tenderly that his love for me will never go astray.  when I feel like I don't deserve him even as a friend he's always right there and lift up my chin and tells me to never give up on him because he is still working on me. he could calm the strongest winds and rains he could dead stop any hurricane because he is the maker of it all. my God he has got control of my life. I wouldn't have it any other way. without my God I would not be worth anything at all. thank you Lord for loving me and making me your child. My loving God, he is my shelter from the rain
