Shadowed Hallways of the Daily Struggle

Walking through this shadowed hall, shadows of the forgotten

Echoes of my silent call, battles I can't outrun

Morning breaks, I lace my shoes, soaked in yesterday’s doubt

Facing faces, cold and used, what am I even about?

Long hours, heavy loads, carrying all my pain

While the others reap the gold, I wear silent stains

They get crowns, I get crumbs, it’s a twisted game

Why my struggle’s never sung, just another name

I’m fighting to survive, in this grind, in this pain

Lost in the rush, feeling frail, feeling vain

The ones above, they soar, while I just fall behind

Struggles I can’t ignore, in this daily grind

No help comes from yesterday’s shift, left me out in the cold

Battling the secrecy, stories untold

They turn their backs, leave me here, drowning in despair

While their world spins, why do they not care?
