Phone lights up in the dead of night, says “urgent—pick it up”

No name, no face, just pressure on the line, tryin’ to shake me up

Voice says, “Everything’s fallin’ fast, you better act right now”

But truth don’t rush like panic does… and I ain’t fallin’ down

Yeah it sounded loud, but something felt off

‘Cause fear talks fast… but it ain’t from God

If it ain’t peace, I ain’t pickin’ up the phone

I’ve been bought, I ain’t for sale anymore

And fear don’t get to tell me where to go

Let it ring, let it lie, let it try all night

I can tell when it ain’t right

If it don’t sound like heaven when it calls my line…

Same old trick in a different voice, just dressed up in doubt

He’s been runnin’ that game since the garden days

Twistin’ truth just enough, tryin’ to lead me away

That ain’t my Shepherd on the other side
