Winter finally took its tole
Burned a hole, In my sole
Had to jump on a aeroplane
To get away from the stress of work and constant rain
2 week trip away in the sun
Time with family
Just having fun
No more rain to make us
feel
glum
13 hrs then 2 more
We all did fly to our hotel door
2 destination in a foreign land
2 aeroplanes to start our plans

In Thailand
Days by the beach and a few plans
Of trips to do, and places to see
But the main thing is to share
Time with family !
We spent hours by the pool
Soaking up the sun
We spent nights trying new foods
Drinking coconut rum
Rice in a pineapple
Water in a coconut
Dinner on a beach
Next to a bamboo hut
We spent days on boats, long tails and kayaks too
We saw elephants loving life, in nature and not a zoo
We saw amazing sunsets
We Played in the sea
In waves that towered over you and me
Thailand…
Rough around the edges but it’s a
Diamond
If you like to explore, be welcome with opened arms
You couldn’t Ask for more
We done loads of walking
Some shopping too
In great night markets
Sampled more food
Rolled ice cream
Crepes the size of your head
We all slept well when we finally went to bed

Would love to stay longer but we have to go
Not looking forward to the long flight home
But it’s been great
And some great memories made
We never will
