Simple life, easy to breathe, no chains to hold me down

Just a humble heart, no riches, no crown

Walking through the fields, with the sky so wide

No silver, no gold, but my soul's in stride

Laughter around, friends in the sun

That's the real wealth, when the day is done

Money can't buy the peace I seek

In the quiet moments, I feel complete

Truth's in the bare essentials, in the simple tune

Dancing under the stars, by the light of the moon

I’d rather be poor and happy, dancing in the rain

Than living in riches, drowned in pain

Happiness is free, it’s the costliest fee
