Shadows creeping, I’m lost in the night

Searching for a dawn, but no signs of light

Fallen from hopes I used to hold tight

A father, a brother, trying to stand upright

But every step feels like I’m sinking deeper

Into a dark well, wondering if I’ll reach her

Silence surrounds, no echoes to hear

Facing these fears, drowning in my tears

The road seems endless and I’m all alone

Seeking a reason to carry on, to find my home

Is there anybody out there, can you hear me?

Lost in this darkness, yearning to be free

The light's so far, I can’t seem to find

A way out of this shadowed mind

I’m fighting shadows, I’m fighting fears

Hoping someday, someone will appear

Till then I walk through this endless night

Clinging to hope, fighting the fight

Maybe someday, the sun will break through

Goodbye to the darkness, hello to something new

But tonight, I’m just a shadow in the rain

A silent cry echoing pain

Still searching, still hoping in vain

Longing for a dawn that can ease my pain

Until that day, I’ll stand and fight

Waiting for the morning light
