Friday fades, Sunday’s far, but tonight we’re feeling alive

Tires screech, engines roar, on the short track we thrive

Got my family right by my side, we hit that dirt and feel the thrill

Laughs and screams fill the night, chasing each other’s wheel

Forget the worries, all the stress, as the cars spin around

On this little oval track, that’s where good times are found

Round and round, we’re in the zone

In that circle, we’re finally home

Speeding past the daily grind

In this race, we leave behind

Short track joy, racing free

Good times with my family

Through the turns, we forget, and our spirits soar

Saturday night’s our secret doorway to something more

It’s my escape, my happy sound
