Brother in the Skies

Young man standing on the line,

In the midst of dreams and fears,

Family gathered by his side,

With hope within their tears.

He's got a heart that beats for freedom,

With courage in each stride,

From chasing childhood dreams,

To wearing the uniform with pride.

Grew up side by side, I saw him fly,

Into a world where sky and courage collide.

With every step into the blue,

I can feel my heart expand,

He’s more than just my brother,

He’s a hero, he’s a man.

My crazy little brother of mine,

Now soaring in the skies with thunder,

A proud Airforce soldier,

He’s the pride of our family,

Forever strong, striking like lightning,

In the stand of honor, he’ll never go under.

Every challenge that he’s faced,

With fire burning bright,

Through the trials and the service,

He’s conquering the night.

A journey made of sacrifices,

With a heart that won’t rescind,

Forever in our thoughts, he’s

A beacon, our own wind.

With every badge upon his chest,

Oh, I can feel my heart expand,

He’s more than just my brother,

In his strength, we stand.
