only wonder why I was so foolish cause God knows you tried

now I miss your laughter, your silence, and even more your fussing

when I would come home late (one o'clock)

but thank God that I made it

remember walking past your room and saw the times you were pray and I stood at the door to hear the words you were saying

heard the pain in your voice as you would ask for protection and beg the Lord for guidance to lead us in a direction (that was straight)

even though you knew it would be narrow and steep

wait for a moment, make sure you were sleep, so I could creep (up the street)

to play in all mischievous things,

but only to later realize all the pain that it brings.
