Chains and Shadows in the Night

Sneaking through the night, shadows whisper low

Venom in my veins, where the dark waters flow

A funhouse mirror, reflecting cracks in my soul

Breaking free from chains, trying to make me whole

Lost in the maze inside my mind’s domain

ADHD racing, chasing shadows, feeling the strain

Depression's heavy weight, pressing on my chest

Anxiety's grip, can’t put my fears to rest

Anger’s flame flickers, a flicker in the storm

Seeking myself, trying to break the norm

Lies lie like coffins, burying the truth

A sneaky lake of doubt, drowning what’s uncouth

But I hear the call, to rise and redefine

Find the light within that’s buried deep inside

Breaking free from the venom, from these chains that lie

Sneaking through the night, I’ll reach to the sky

Funhouse of my mind, distorted and complex

But I’m fighting through the darkness, breaking all the specs

Coffin doors creak open, shedding all the weight

Nighttime is my ally, I refuse to break

Every sneaky tear, every silent scream

Builds a new beginning, fuels my waking dream

Venom turns to water, wash away the pain

Living with my shadows, I will rise again
