Breaking Through Hell

In the shadow of the gates, I tread so slow,

Whispers in the darkness, where no love can grow.

Each bruise a reminder, each tear a tale,

Caught in this cycle, this never-ending hell.

Waking up to silence, fear in my chest,

Counting down the moments, when will it be addressed?

Her voice like thunder, echo in my mind,

I wear the scars of battles, the battles left behind.

And every time she’s pushing, pushing me away,

A part of me just crumbles, another price to pay.

But there’s a fire rising, deep within this soul,

Healing in the shadows, learning to be whole.
