When I Lost My Light

In shadows deep where silence cries,

I wander lost beneath the skies.

Blindfolded thoughts, they led me wrong,

Now I’m left here, where I don’t belong.

I wore a mask that hid my pain,

Drowning in the pouring rain.

You reached for me, but I pulled away,

Thought it was just another day.

The nights grew long, the days turned gray,

And slowly, love began to fray.

I couldn’t see the signs so clear,

Your tender voice, now disappears.

Now I’m standing on this empty street,

With echoes of a love that felt so sweet.

I took for granted all you gave,
