Whispers of Grace

Whispers in the shadows, I can hear the call,

A light in the distance, guiding me through it all.

I was walking on the mountains, where the air was so pure,

Each step in your light, Lord, I felt I was sure.

But the valleys grew deeper, the whispers turned to screams,

In the moments of weakness, I let go of my dreams.

Fading into the darkness, the road twisted tight,

Fractured and broken, too far from the light.

With every false promise, I slipped further away,

Still, I hear your voice, in the silence you say:

Through the clouds of my doubt, while my spirit is falling.

Your grace still surrounds me, a love that won’t fade,

With every wrong turn, you still whisper, “Try.”

Though I wandered in the wilderness, lost in my fight,

Your mercy is an ember, a flicker of light.
