Eternal Love

The song of truth in a quiet heart

Seeking more than just the shining start

A voice that calls through the dark

It's Jesus, my eternal spark

I could sing like an angel, high and clear

Move crowds with a look that draws sincere

The world’s applause, the cheering fans

But without Jesus, what matter my plans?

All the riches in the world can't compare

To the peace that flows from knowing He cares

Power and beauty fade and wear

But Christ's love is always there

Having Jesus in my heart, that’s all I need (Jesus)

Heaven's treasures, forever mine to be (Savior)

No matter what the world may see or say (Lord)

His love will never fade away (friend)

Money stacks high, possessions gleam

Yet emptiness echoes through that dream

Friends come and go, like a fleeting stream

Only Jesus makes my spirit beam

All the fame and fortune in the land

Can't hold a candle to His guiding hand

In Him, I find my true worth

Jesus the Lord of all the earth

Having Jesus in my heart, that’s all I need (Jesus)
