The Man in the Mirror

There are days that I question who I really am,

If the man in the mirror really looks this down,

Am I the husband my wife deserves or the dad that my kids need,

But at the end of the day I give the very best of me.

I put myself last and work myself to death, just to give them the life that I never had.

I hope it’s enough, and I hope that they see the love I try to give them is every bit of me.

We ain’t rich with money, but we have everything we need, it breaks my heart to say no to things they think they need. My wife is my best friend and beautiful beyond belief, my kids are my hero’s and make me a better me.

This man in the mirror has questions about his self, but there is no doubt I have the best family around. They keep me going when I don’t think I can, and they me smile simply by holding my hand.

I thank God for the man in the mirror because if I wasn’t here none of this would matter, so those questions that I have really don’t matter at all because I have the best family of them all.
