6th Grade

I’ve loved you since 6th grade.

You were the new kid in the back.

I saw you sitting there all alone and all I knew was that I loved you.

Back in 6th grade

When I first saw you

I knew you were the one that i would always love

Your laugh made me feel like I’d never felt before

The teacher put my desk

Right across from yours

I tried to say hi

But I got ignored

You drew in many girls

They all ran after you

that big crowd they couldn’t leave you be

So I stood up high and cried taken by me

Out of that big crowd

You noticed me

You came up to me

Your smile mesmerized me

So I got scared and said let me be

Back in 6th grade

When I saw your smile

I wanted to see it again and again

I couldn’t stop staring

It’s like God made you just for me

Back in 6th grade

We got to be close friends

But in secret

It started out when I dropped my pen

You stole it just like you stole my heart

And now you throw your pens, back at me

To make up for time, that you spent teasing me

When you called my name

I grabbed your hand and held it tight

I never wanted to let go

I knew that you were the one for me
