Questions in my mind, they circle around

Would I fight through the pain, would I carry the scars?

Or would I walk away and finally heal my heart?

We were built with cracks we refused to see

Two broken souls fighting to be free

Behind locked doors, I found my own light

Facing my truth in the middle of the night

How long would you stay inside the storm?

Would you rise again or let yourself be torn?

I’m grateful you showed me the cracks

Now I know the truth, and I’m not going back

Looking in the mirror, I finally see

The person I lost trying to make you believe

Every broken piece was a part of my story

Now I’m finding my strength, now I’m finding my glory

Slowly, step by step, I’m finding my way

Learning to love myself more every day

Never thought this pain would bring me here

But through every scar, I’m seeing clear

The doors are opening, I’m breaking through

I’m becoming someone new
