Deadline of the 31st

If  you invest in me
I will invest in you
But I will walk away

That no longer serves me

This is the last day
To prove you've got my back

Their new years is in January
But Mine is April 1st
Since they want to lie
The deadline is today the 31st

Forgiveness is not free
