Shadow Stalkers

Night creeps, the moon’s got a slit for an eye,

Demons slither through the cracks where the shadows lie.

Hood up, steel sharp, I’m the answer to their cries,

Hunter in the dark, where the light won’t rise.

Bloodstains on my boots, whispers claw at my neck,

Every breath a gamble, every step a bet.

Spines snap like twigs, truth’s a cigarette,

Burning slow, smoke signals in the devil’s debt.

Who you gonna call when the night turns black?

Shadow stalkers, we the ones fighting back.

Through the fog, through the fire, through the devil’s pact,

No escape for the fiends when we’re on the attack.

Sigils on my gloves, spells etched in my veins,

They prey in the night, I prey on their pain.

Silver in my satchel, holy water in the rain,

Crossroads to chaos, I’m the one who remains.

Screams echo like a chorus, cathedral of dread,

Demons dance till I paint the altar red.

Blade whispers secrets, stories of the dead,

I’m the hunter they fear, the nightmare they’ve fled.

Chained to the hunt, no rest for the cursed,

Born with the burden, a life unrehearsed.

Heart’s a furnace, soul’s about to burst,

I’ll bury them deep, send ‘em back in reverse.
