Ain't no other way to go

Just the hum of the engine's glow

Underneath the stars so bright,

This old truck feels so right.

Driving my semi down an old two-lane road,

The tires whisper stories as the miles unfold.

Nothing but me, the road, and my truck,

Rolling on with dreams, in a world of luck.

With every turn, the past comes alive,

Echoes of the highway keep my soul revived.

Home is a journey, not a place to be,

Just me and this truck, that's all I need.

The wind in my hair, like a sweetened sigh.

Every mile takes me further from yesterday.

Chasing horizons, the world’s in my hands,

Searching for freedom in these empty lands.
