how I wish for simpler times,

No masks, no fear, just laughter and cheer,

Dreams of a life that’s pure and clear.

Remember the days we took for granted,

Friendship and freedom, so lightly handed.

Kids playing outside, no worries, no fear,

Now it feels like the distance, never near.

We worked so hard to keep afloat,

Caught in a cycle, losing hope.

But deep inside, we know what’s true,

A better world begins with me and you.

I wish for a world back to normal,

Where love and work are endless, formal.

To spend real time with those we hold dear,

To wipe away the pain and the fear.

In a system that’s been so betrayed.

Love their kids, and play their role.

No more excuses, no more games,

It’s time to rise, break free from these chains.

Responsibility, it starts at home,

Build a future where love is grown.
