Fading Love, Burning Heart

Yeah, we’re caught in a storm, trying to hold on

Truths that cut deep, but we carry on

Every day feels like a battle, words sharper than a blade

Questions shout loud, in a silence that’s betrayed

Your patience wear thin, I wonder what I could say

Trying to find the love that once lit up our way

But I’m still here, holding onto the ghost of us

Hoping love will find a way through the fuss

Is there enough space for us to breathe?

Or has the love already started to leave?

I love you more than words can say, yet I see the love fade away

Still, I give my all, even when forever feels like a day

What do I do when love’s become a fight, trying to make it right?

Hold on till dawn, keep our dreams alive tonight

Can we break these walls, find where we lost our way?

Or are we just shadows that refuse to stay?

I want to believe in us, in the promise we made

But fading hearts make the night feel cold and gray

So I’ll stand here, trying to keep the flame alive

Even if we’re barely hanging, I’ll still try to survive

Love’s a fragile thing, but your heart’s still mine
