Silent voices

Darkness falls, shadows linger, whispering fears within

Echoes of the silent screams, where do I begin?

Each night I drown in hollow dreams, a river of despair

Thoughts like storms, relentless winds, tearing me bare

Questions circle in my mind, a relentless spill

To stay or to fade away, against my will

Fighting every moment, trying to find the light

Lost inside a battle, slipping into the night

The world feels cold and distant, slipping through my hands

Holding on to fragments, sinking like grains of sand

Stay, or let go, the struggle’s real

Holding onto hope feels surreal

Taking the pills, chasing the calm or the fall

In the darkness, I’m trying to stand tall

Silent voices whisper, urging me to give in

But I’m searching for the strength to begin again

Fighting shadows, fighting fears, breaking through the shell

Hoping someday I’ll find where I belong, where all is well

Each night I face this war, seeking dawn’s first light
