Ocean Night

Across the sea away from harm

I can feel the turn of tide

She brings us comfort

And keeps us warm

A rush and glide from side to side

The moon dips below the ocean

To meet the sun down below.

A graceful splash

Smooth and slow

As the stars dance silently above

And the trees nearby sway

In comes the comfort of love

To touch the soul in a delicate way

The winds whistle and speak at night

Illuminated by the distant light

Crickets chirp to find the way

And the dark shows our way
