God who set me free

I was Christian too, long before I knew

Praising God in song, with a heart untrue

It didn’t serve me well, my soul had grown cold

I wandered through the night, with no hand to hold

I was lost in my intentions

Fighting hard for my beliefs

I didn’t trust the Savior, King of kings

I’ve been liberated, now I see
