We chased the dawn where the cold winds cry,

April skies cut like a blade in the sky,

Boots on stone, hearts burning bright,

Four souls dancing on the edge of night.

Sherpas whisper through the frozen air,

“Turn back now if you dare not dare,”

But we laughed loud, we kissed the flame,

Oh, glory called us by our name.

Higher… higher… don’t look down,

The mountain wears a broken crown—

On the Durand Line we stand,

Ghosts of fire in a frozen land,

If we fall, let legends say—

We burned like stars and slipped away!

Two turned back at the breathless height,

Four-two-zero in the fading light,

One misstep—no final cry,

The ravine sang a lullaby.

Do you hear the silence scream?

Do you wake inside a dream?

On the Durand Line we rise,

Through the storm and shattered skies,

Freddie sings where eagles fly—
