Bullets in the Dark Sky

Silent night, broken sky, shadows whisper cold

Eyes are wide, heart denied, stories left untold

Gazing at the darkness, where the stars once shined bright

Now they seem so distant in this endless night

Bullets dance in the air, echoes of despair

Caught between the pain and the cold night air

Feeling helpless, yet I can’t look away

Every flash of light, another price I pay

Love and thoughts collide, a storm inside my mind

Seeking refuge in the dark, trying to find

Checking out the dark sky, watching these bullets fly

Drowning in the silence where my fears amplify

This is what it feels like, a fight against the tide

Haunted by the shadows, nowhere left to hide

Are these tears just falling stars, or wounds that never heal?

Broken hopes beneath the scars, what’s real, what’s real?

Lost inside this cycle, spinning out of control

Fighting for a piece of something to console

Dark sky, bleeding light, I’m just trying to survive

Holding on to fleeting hope, keep my dreams alive
