The End of Darkness

In the silence of the night,

I whisper to the stars,

But they’re too far, too far,

To hear my scars.

I wear my darkness like a cloak,

An armor made of smoke,

Every word I never spoke,

Chokes me till I break.

Every mirror shows a stranger,

Every path leads to danger,

Lost in echoes of despair,

But no one seems to care.

I am the worst, the end, the absolute,

Drowning in shadows, wearing resolute,

Falling down, the ground beneath my feet,
