Broken Chains

Necks to red, back hurts, feels like it's broke,

Walking through the fire, every step's a heavy joke.

Knees are creaking like they're 80 years old,

Counting all the scars from stories never told.

Wrist sounds like cement mixers turning slow,

Pain in every movement, feeling low.

Life's grinding gears, no mercy, no escape,

Caught up in the storm, it's a bitter landscape.

But in the shadows, I find a spark,

A flicker of hope cutting through the dark.

Even broken, still I stand,

Fighting tides beneath my hand.

Hearts battered, but hearts still pounding.

Cries echo in the rain,
