Kind, Strong & Near

When dark clouds of trouble appear,
And trials in my pathway draw near,
I’ll trust in His love from above,
Jehovah, whose name I will love.

When doubt gently whispers at night,
Jehovah brings comfort and light.
He teaches my heart how to stay,
And follow His truth every day.

But Jehovah is kind, strong, and near,
He calms every doubt and each fear.
When we stumble or cry, He is here—
By His hand, we walk free of all fear.


Though once I was lost and confused,
By teachings that left me misused,
The Bible brought truth to my sight,
And filled me with joy and with light.

When Satan would claim I’m unworthy,
Jehovah says, “Hold on firmly.”
He carries me through in His care,
Assuring me love everywhere.

When storms make my courage seem small,
Jehovah stands firm through it all.
He reaches to quiet my fear,
And shows me His power is near.

But Jehovah is kind, strong, and near,
He calms every doubt and each fear.
When we stumble or cry, He is here—
