I slept with an Angel one night long ago.

Holding on to her memories and not wanting to let go.

The love I feel for her is so pure and so kind.

I'm not going to let her go this time, I've made up my mind.

She held me so close and so tight in my sleep,

I knew she was there and it was safe for me to weep.

I could feel her hands on my face as she wiped my tears away.

I heard her voice whispering saying it's okay.

We swam in the oceans so dark and so cold.

We played with the lions with their manes so bold.

We flew in the Sky with the Eagles so free.

We walked across the Nile, for everyone to see.

We reached out together with her hands and touch the Sun.

We cried with excitement with everything we done.

When I looked at her so close, her face was aglow.

I told her that I missed her and I needed her here today.

She looked at me so peacefully, and this is what she had to say.
