The clock ticks loud it steals my sleep

Whispers crawl where silence weeps

A broken chair a faded coat

A letter written but never wrote

Shadows in my mind they dance alone

Familiar strangers I’ve never known

I call out loud but the echoes hide

Shadows in my mind they won’t collide

The mirror cracks it won’t reflect

A shattered dream I can’t protect

The rain taps soft like a secret told

But every drop feels bitter cold

If I could rewind the sky

Erase the moments I can’t deny

Would the stars still burn or fade away

Would the night forget to turn to day
