Dog Prayer

"I gave a cat nine lives,

Why not give it to a dog.

I grew up barking towards the moon,

I crawled on fours for you so I could walk longer by your side,

I obeyed your every word, I was trained by your command,

I would bite for you, I was fed by your hand,

If you raised it at me, I would understand,

For I knew you would lead me to the righteous man,

For he was your best friend as you made him mine.

I see god why I am in the form of you, With my name you gave man for me.
