I was carrying shame I couldn’t erase,

Running from mercy, hiding my face.

But You looked at me with open arms,

And called me by grace.

Like the thief beside the cross, I had nothing left to bring,

No silver, no good works, no crown, no offering.

Just a broken heart crying, “Jesus, don’t pass me by,”

You heard my whisper before my last goodbye.

You didn’t see my failures, You saw a soul in need,

Your mercy wrote a story my past could never read.

One word from Your lips changed eternity,

“You’ll be with Me”—You set this captive free.

I don’t deserve Your kindness,

I could never earn Your love.

Still Your grace keeps reaching,

Like rain from heaven above.

Remember me, Lord, when I fall again,

Wash me clean, forgive my sin.

Seventy times seven, Your mercy never ends,

You keep calling prodigals Your friends.

Your love rewrites my history,

Your cross became my victory.

I’ve been forgiven, now I forgive,

Because You first gave me life to live.

Peter asked, “How many times?” thinking there was a line,

But Your heart keeps proving love is always on time.

Not counting every failure, not keeping every scar,

Your forgiveness reaches farther than the stars.

So help me love my enemies,

Help me let the bitterness go.

The same grace that rescued me

Is the grace I need to show.

Today… not tomorrow,

You turned my sorrow into hope.

Paradise begins the moment

I surrender to Your love.

Chains fall, hearts heal,

Mercy is forever real.

I’ve been redeemed, I’ve been restored,

All because of Christ my Lord.

Remember me, Lord, I belong to You,

Every morning Your mercy is new.

Seventy times seven, I’ll choose to forgive,

The way You taught me how to live.

From the cross You called my name,

Nothing will ever be the same.

Jesus, thank You for setting me free,

Your forgiveness is enough for me.

“Remember me…” was all I could say.

“Today you’ll be with Me…” was all You had to say.
