Lonely

Lonely, desperate for someone to love.

Walking through the crowded streets,

I say, "hi, how are you?", but still go unseen.

I try so hard!

I just want to be seen!

I go unnoticed

When I ask how they've been!

Why am I standing here wasting my time, on something that just doesn't matter?

Guess I'll go home and wait,

My hood pulled over my head.

An outlaw, a shadow, and everything else they all said.
