I’ve worn the taste of bitter ends like salt and rust upon my skin. Built my hopes on crooked stone, watched them break again, again. I’ve begged the sky for one reprieve, got silence cold enough to freeze, but somehow in the darkest part, there’s still a twitch inside my heart. I’ve been the wreckage, I’ve been the wave. I’ve been too tired, to try too proud to pray. But here I stand not whole, not clean, still breathing fire from gasoline. So if you’re bleeding on the ground, if every voice says “stay down,” just know I’ve lived there, I still do but, broken things can rise up too. We don’t need glory. We don’t need crowns, just one more breath, just one more round. You’re not alone inside the flame we rise, we fall. We rise again!
I stitched my shame into my coat, wore it like a holy oath, to never fake the strength I lack, but I will still keep crawling back. I’ve seen the world from my knees, felt faith and doubt in equal degrees, but I learned scars are proof of fight and some stars only show at night. You don’t need answers, just your feet to take one step in your defeat. and if you fail, then fail with grace, the ground remembers every face. so if you’re bleeding on the ground, if every voice says “stay down,” just know I’ve lived there, I still do but broken things can rise up too. We don’t need glory, We don’t need crowns just one more breath, just one more round. You’re not alone inside the flame,we rise, we fall, we rise again! this world will shake you to your bones, steal your name, leave you alone, but ashes make the richest earth for souls to dig to find their worth. So if you’re walking through the storm and all you feel is tired and worn, just know the night won’t have the last say, we build our dawns from fractured days. We don’t need perfect, We just need true. The fight is hard, but so are you! you’re not alone inside the flame, we rise, we fall, We rise again!
We rise again even if it’s slow, even if it hurts, we rise..
