Echos Of Eden

In the dark, there was light,

Spoke the word, day from night.

Drew the sky, split the sea,

Made the land, let it breathe.

Then dust turned to man,

Touched by His hand,

But we fell so fast,

Never looked back.

I hear echoes of Eden,

Calling my name,

Through the rivers and seasons,

Still feel the pain.

We were kings, we were free,

'Til the fruit cut us deep,

Now the garden is gone,

But it still lives in me.

Built a home, let it grow,

From the dust, flesh and bone.

But a brother took life,

Marked his name in the night.

Then the waters came,

Swept out the blame,

But we lost our way,

Still not the same.

I hear echoes of Eden,

Calling my name,
