Lord is my savior

I was lost and afraid

I couldn’t find the right way

To go

I wanted to run away

I wanted to escape

But the tunnel was never ending and I couldn’t find it in me to keep going

you showed up at the right time and rescued me

Everything I once knew to be true wasn’t even close to the truth

It was all written in the book of life

I never knew that I could run to you even with all my flaws and sins

I didn’t have to face my fears alone because you were there with me lord

Jesus you mean everything to me

You’re the strength that keeps me going

You’re the directions that keeps me going

Without you I wouldn’t know where to go

I held my tears in for so long and you gave me the strength to feel alive again

This heavy feeling was lifted off of me

And I finally know where to go

I can finally breathe again
